All ready for granite
All the cabinets are now installed and topped with plywood. The granite countertops are going in tomorrow and I can hardly wait!! I think the kitchen has turned out bigger than I had planned, but with how much time you spend in it, and how everyone always ends up there anyway, I guess it's good to have a big kitchen.

You're going to LOVE your big kitchen. Think about what a change it's going to be for you guys! Try to post some pictures later of the countertops, ok?
I think having the kitchen bigger than expected is definitley a good thing! And Morgan is doing a fabulous job on your floors. Mike and I are coming to Vashon for dinner at my Grandma's tonight - don't know if we'll have time to stop by even if you're available... but let me know your plans just incase :)
um just noticed one thing (in you awesome kitchen) looks like the overhang on youre island is on the wrong side... isn't it supposed to be on the dining room side and not the kitchen side.

Yes I think I am going to love the big kitchen, especially now that we have countertops. I feel like we just have miles of countertop. What a change from the tiny cabin! Hailey--stop by any time!! Merry, it was just an optical illusion, everything is just fine :o)
