Let there be light!

Today the electricians came and installed nearly all the light fixtures. I think they look pretty good. The only thing they didn't do was install the right switches for the lights. I had talked to Trace about doing rocker switches and they put up toggle switches, but I'm sure it's not too late to change them. We couldn't turn them on yet, but they're up!

Looking good! I don't even know the difference between toggle and the other switch and I bet you didn't either before you started this project. Think about how much you've learned!! I know who I'll be calling if we ever decide to build our own house (which I'm sure we won't because I can see how stressful it's been for you and you are EXTREMELY organized!)

Yeah, I've learned a lot!! Toggle switches are the regular kind of light switches, the kind we had growing up and a lot of people have now. Rocker switches rock when pressed which means one side is raised while the other is depressed(like a rocking horse). The switch is rectangular and just looks cleaner and more modern to me. Plus I think they're easier to use, though it's a switch so how much easier could it be, right? Ok, so I really just like the look of them better. I've known what kind of switches I was going to have before the house was even built! I'd help you if you ever decide to build a house.
